Join members of the Atakap-Ishak tribe at the city of Lake Charles 150th birthday celebration. Members of the tribe will have a booth set up and be on hand to talk about their history. While there, enjoy an exhibition that provides a glimpse into what makes the city so special. Come out to celebrate on Sat. Sep. 30. Things will kick off with a parade downtown at 6 p.m. on Ryan Street and conclude with fire works on the lake at 9:15. For more information, please visit www.celebratelakecharles150.com
