The Annual Atakapas Trade Day Event will take place on November 5, 2016 at the Longfellow-Evangeline State Historic Site. Christi Disher, manager of Longfellow-Evangeline SHS, has invited us to come and set up our display and do a presentation about the history of our tribe. The event officially begins at 10:00am and ends at 3:00pm. However, the doors will open at 8am that day in order to allow vendors and demonstrators time to set up.
