Please join Chief Crying Eagle, Edward Chreiten Jr., of the Atakapa-Ishak tribe, and Mrs. Mary Leblanc of the Atkapa-Akokisa, a band in the Houston area on Wednesday, August 6 from 6:30-7:30 at the Spring Creek Nature Center. Mrs. Leblanc, accompanied by Mr. Chretien, will share her knowledge of the Indian tribe during this specified time. Leblanc’s talk will take place during the history segment of the Spring Creek Greenway Ambassador Program.
