The ill intent of former members continue to hurt the efforts of current tribe members that are seeking acknowledgement. It is imperative that all former and current members come together to further the process of acknowledgement by the federal government. The progress made through the efforts of current council members under the leadership of Chief Chretien is far greater than what has been done in the recent past. Please read the attached letter.
